amelialily11 After uploading this to my story and realising how much of a strong message this is I felt the need to post it. 22 years I’ve lived with type 1 diabetes and I get asked constantly On a daily basis how I cope and manage with my BG levels whilst performing, travelling or filming. My answer is this, it’s hard, it’s a challenge, but i take each day as it comes. I am not a perfect diabetic, but to be honest who is? I try and live a normal life like every other 25 year old. I like to go out and party and drink alcohol with my friends, I like to travel, eat out a lot and I like to live a bit on the edge! I’ve always been brought up to believe that I control my diabetes, it doesn’t control me. I want everyone out there who is a type 1 diabetic to remember that it’s ok to not have a good day, but please don’t beat yourself up about it. We’re only human, and we’re allowed to live! As long as you are doing the best you can with the life you lead that’s all you can do! Massive shout out to my friend @diabetic_health_coach_ for this quote!
Remember , We are all strong, all of us. We are fighters. And we will continue fighting every day because we are stronger than this illness! I am proud to be a type 1 diabetic 💙👊🏻

amelialily11 Bringing in the new year with my frozen themed New Years Eve party! 2019, you have tested me in so many ways, to be honest I’m glad to see the back of you. However although I’ve had a tough year on a personal level, the end of this year has been incredible!!! I do believe everything happens for a reason. I’m so grateful for my family and friends that have stuck by my side this year, you all know who you are, thank you ❤️ 2020 I’m coming for you in every way possible!! I wish everyone the best for this new year, health, love and happiness! Now I’m off to party with my Panto lot! Let’s raise a glass to 2020!!🥂🥂🥂
