This picture is prophetic.” Here we are in the sand, yet I’m handing my daughter a rock. In life, you have many opportunities to build upon the sand. But anything that is built upon the sand will not withstand the storms of life. We must build upon the rock which is Jesus. He is a firm foundation.
I built most of my life upon the sand. My life was built upon my finances, my career, & the fame I had acquired as an adult model/actress. I looked like I had the world in my hands, but I was dying on the inside. I was a depressed and suicidal drug addict. There came a day when I hit rock bottom. I couldn’t take it anymore.
Everything I had built my life upon came crashing right before my eyes. It was a very difficult time in life, but it led me to the best thing in my life. My life is now secure, because I allow Jesus to lord over my life. I have confidence and faith that no matter what I go through everything is going to be OK because I have a great God who always has my best interest at heart.
What are you building upon? A career, money, family, and not even church are secure foundations to build your life upon (You should attend & serve in church, but don’t build your entire life upon it, church is not God.) We need a strong relationship with God & we need to teach our children how to have a relationship with Him as well. We need to raise children who don’t have to borrow our faith because they have faith of their own.
As we have seen with #covid19 anything and everything can come crashing right before our very eyes in just a moment of time. The only thing that cannot be taken from you is your relationship with God. He is a strong and firm foundation. Let’s build everything upon Him & do everything for His glory. He loves you and wants the absolute best for you.
brittnidelamoraI have seen miracles happen from prayer. I have seen doctors speak death, but God spoke life through an answered prayer. I have seen addicts get set free, the depressed find JOY without medication, the barren woman give birth, and so much more through prayer.
Friends, God moves through prayer! We are in a unique time in history and we need to pray like never before. God says, ‘We perish because of lack of knowledge’. My prayer today was that we would be hungry for knowledge of the word of God and hungry for knowledge of what’s going on in the world.
If we don’t know what’s going on in the word of God then we won’t understand our authority in the spiritual realm. And If we don’t know what’s going on in the world we will be taken advantage of and we run the risk of losing our civil rights & freedoms. Please pray for our nation. Please educate yourself spiritually and politically. You can’t afford not to. We can’t afford not to. We need to be spiritually and mentally strong together. “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” - Jesus

There is power in changing your perspective. I once saw life as meaningless, empty, and void. But now I see life as precious, purposeful , and so bright!
When we take our eyes off ourself and keep them focused on God and His goodness He will overflow us with a river of His love. There is nothing dull about having a relationship with God. He makes everything so perfect! He makes everything come alive. He will shift your mindset and give you the ability to see beauty in everything.
If I could have a conversation with myself in 2012 I would say, “Don’t waste another day trying to figure things out without God. He is your answer. He is your peace. He is the only one who can heal your heart and cause your soul to prosper.”

Too many people prolong God’s blessings because they settle for 2nd best and then realize they want something better than 2nd best. Then they have to repeat the cycle. Friend, you’ll get what you want faster if you just wait. I know that sounds countercultural, but it’s the truth. When you wait for what you truly deserve then there is no repeating the cycle because you have exactly what God intended for you all along. If you’ve been in season of waiting, I commend you. When we humble ourselves and admit our shortcomings, not only will God exalt us, but it is then we will find healing.
I don’t know what you’ve been going through, I don’t know what you’ve been ashamed of lately, but I want to remind you that it is only God‘s opinion of you that truly matters. He holds the keys to your destiny; the person that you are afraid of does not.
Like David, when you’re in a position of leadership, it can be tempting to hide your private sin. While you’re busy trying to perform and make everyone think you’re “all to the good” you’re only hindering yourself. Be set free my friend.
We all make mistakes and we all fall short of the glory of God. The only way that you can move forward is by being transparent. David was able to move forward after he confessed his sins to Nathan the prophet. And GUESS WHAT? He still lived a blessed life, because God is not looking for perfect people… He is looking for humble people who love Him and have a heart of repentance.
If you’ve been messing up lately, don’t be hard on yourself. Talk to God, talk to a friend, and move forward. Your mistakes won’t hinder your future, unless you allow them too. God forgives you. It is time to forgive yourself.

Above all else we must guard our heart because it determines the course of our lives. So, when we have a broken-heart, we end up making broken decisions. When your heart is contaminated your decisions will also be contaminated.
My broken heart led me down a path I wish for no person! It led me deep into depression, drug addiction, suicide attempts and so much more. I was a serial dater because I didn’t know how to be alone… How can you be alone with yourself when you don’t even love yourself?
But I have good news! When you start seeking God, He will transform your life. He will pour out so much love upon you that you’ll confidently love yourself! He will take the broken pieces of your life and make them whole and complete lacking no good thing.
A pure hearted person is a powerful person. Favor follows those who are pure in heart! If you’ve found yourself in a mess, God can get you through it! All you have to do is draw near to Him and He will draw near to you!
I have challenged many of my friends and today I challenge you.... give God 30 days - seek Him through worship, prayer and read the Bible. Do you these three things every day in order for the next 30 days and I promise you you will notice a dynamic difference in your life. brittnidelamoraLast week, I filmed a quick teaching on shame. I talked about how shame had me afraid to share my story. When I first began attending church I thought everyone was perfect and they’d reject me if they knew all the horrible things I had done. Shame comes from fear of people. How terrible it is to fear a person.
I remember the day Jesus set me free from shame and I told everyone I came in contact with at church that “I used to be a porn star and a drug addict, but Jesus set me free! God is SO good.” I learned that transparency silences the enemy. The enemy can’t tell me that everybody is going to find out that I used to be a porn star and reject me if I’ve already told everybody. I took his bullets away and he has nothing on me.
I don’t know what you’ve been ashamed of, but you really have nothing to be ashamed of. Who cares what people think of you? Their opinion means nothing. When God set me free, He said, “If what Jesus did on the cross was enough for you, then why are you ashamed of the very thing he died for you for?” God’s got you covered and works all things together for good, but how can He work something together for good if you’re too ashamed to talk about it?! Be set free friends! Choosing to walk in freedom regardless of what people think or say about you is a mega blessing I don’t want you to miss out on!

brittnidelamoraSeven years ago I walked into this church high on drugs. I was lost and confused. I had just quit the porn industry, by faith. I had no idea where I was going to work nor how I was going to pay my bills. My net worth was said to be $3.5 million, yet I left with only $1,500 to my name - my very last paycheck. That’s how bad my addiction was 😞 + my frivolous spending. But regardless of how broke, broken, and broke down I was, I had something great inside of me. I had FAITH! I believed that God could take my messed up life and turn into a message that would glorify Him! I believed that He could heal me of my drug addiction! I believed that even though I had made some pretty bad mistakes in my past that He would not only forgive me, but that He would bless my life like no man ever could. Friends, God is good! He will work with whatever faith you place in Him, so make sure you put a lot of it in Him. Who would have thought that seven years later I’d be standing here with the most amazing man and my precious baby girl?! Who would have thought that I would go from a porn star to a pastor?! Seriously?! WEIRD hahaha! I never would have dreamt this life. All I wanted to do was serve God, because I fell in love with the one who forgave me of my sins. Thank you Jesus! One of the questions I get asked the most is, “How did you pick your daughter’s name?” One day, before I conceived I prayed about a name for my future child and the name Jada entered my heart. This was never a name I had ever before considered. I decided to look up the definition and was amazed when I saw something on google that said the name comes from The Old Testament “Yadah” which means “He Knows”. However, as I began to dig deeper, I’ve since realized that Yadah (Jada) actually means “To give thanks, praise, and to confess the name of God”. I am in awe of this because last year I was terrified (yes I said it, terrified) that I would not be able to have children due to a few things, but one being a bad report from the doctor. But God had other plans! Every day since the day I conceived, I have praised God and thanked Him for this beautiful miracle growing on the inside of me. I know that it’s because of Him that I get to have children. So, come to find out that my daughter’s name means to thank and praise brings tears to my eyes and a smile to my heart because God gave me her name before she was ever in my womb. All along God knew! How silly of me to miss what He was doing 😂🤷🏻♀️ (I’m only human). My daughter’s name means everything to me, because God chose her name and because she, @richardelamora , and I will forever praise His name.
Her middle name is Rose because my middle name, Renee, comes from my Aunt’s middle name and her daughter’s middle name is Rose. Her daughter is one of the sweetest, brightest, most positive, happy-go-lucky girls I have ever met. She radiates love and light. I absolutely adore her, so we gave our daughter her middle name. #JadaRose

brittnidelamoraI lived much of my life as an ungrateful woman. I didn’t appreciate what I had and because of this, I failed to live life to the fullest. I allowed depression and negative thoughts to consume my mind. I have always had so much to be grateful for (as all of us do), but I needed a change in my perspective. I needed to choose to see the good in every situation. I began my journey of gratitude 7 years ago after God radically changed my life. Now, I try my best to express my gratitude for everything; the big, the small, the good, and even the ugly. Every season in life has a purpose and as we express gratitude for that season, we will reap a reward of JOY! When tempted to complain, I simply remind myself that there is someone fighting for their life that would give anything to be in my shoes. The same is true for you. You are blessed whether you recognize it or not. If you choose today to acknowledge that, your life will radically change! God will give you joy for what you once thought of as misery. We all need a perspective change at some point in our lives. Let today be that day for you. #grateful
