juleshoughThere’s nothing like a mother’s love! Clearly we were both cold and delirious but had each other. Sometimes I take for granted that I have a healthy and living family. I want to make sure that I cherish every moment I get to spend with them and let them know that I love them even when we are in tough times. I’m so grateful for my family and sending love to all those that need some extra support and love during this time. For those that have difficult relationships with loved ones, I encourage you to reach out with no expectation and just tell them you are thinking of them or that you love them! Life is life! juleshoughEnding the year and the decade with these powerful feminine forces!! These women truly embody transformation. Not by changing themselves, but by bringing in their entire being, everything they are and what it means to be a woman today.
It just feels right to be starting the new year with these women by my side. Feeling extra grateful for my team. @tessandrachavez for her choreography, @ashleyedens for her creativity, @camilaforeroo for her everything, @jrc_costume_design for costumes (last minute rhinestone fixes and all!) and every one else who works behind the scenes to bring this magic to life.
It’s no accident that there wasn’t a drop of rain the entire day until the moment of our performance, and it stopped right as we finished. A sign from the universe that the elements are with us. @kinrgy too with the rain showing up as a sign of water, support and cleansing. I literally felt the old being released and an allowance of space for the new year to begin.
To be able to start the new year with this performance after taking a break from music for the past 10 years felt like a dream come true. I feel grateful. I feel alive. I feel open and READY for all that 2020 has in store. Bring it on. West coast get ready to watch!!
