Wonderland of snow and beauty. I bounced around like a clumsy bunny. Such joy in huge drifts with snow clothes on. Cozy nooks and makeshift easy chairs with lots and lots of nourishing eye candy where the the water meets the mountains and the mountains meets the sky. Will post pictures in my story. Probably tonight... cause we’re headed back to mountain to try again.

Brandi came to Wilmington, while I was working on Revolution. I danced, sang along, laughed and cried. She’s such pure talent. If you’ve never been to a show, please go. You’ll leave more alive than when you walked in.
After the show I was reluctantly about to leave when a crew guy in a Brandi T-shirt recognized me. He asked if I would like to come backstage to meet Brandi.
Well.... yes.
Yes! YES!!! I did.
Turns out they had watched Lost on the tour bus. Blew my mind. They watched me?!? Never can get my head around that. I was a blushing, shy grateful mess and she and the twins were kind, humble and effortlessly cool. I treasure this picture. And my T-shirt. And my poster. And the guitar pick that was lovingly rescued for me when she threw it into the audience. #tbt

elizabeth.mitchell.officialWhen I was a kid I always used to lay with my head under the Christmas tree, staring up at the lights. It always felt like another world. I was even happier with a book or two under my arm. It was a rare peaceful place in my joyful but busy house.
I was up early this morning and had my hour of quiet, finishing two books with another three under my arm for this #LazySunday.
It’s December 1st, so I’m allowed to have my tree up and fully decorated now, right? I totally didn’t have it up days ago. Nope. #ChristmasSpirit #joy
