haleyluhooi don’t know why we are doing this pose but isn’t the sky pretty and also i went on all the scary rides at knott’s berry farm some of them three times even !!!! like that one where you’re strapped in and your feet are dangling and they hold you at the top of this big pole thing just long enough for you to think something broke and then you drop two hundred fifty feet. ya. did that three times. and that one rollercoaster where you go from zero to like a billion miles an hour in a second and shoot straight up then just fall head first to the center of the earth. yup two times. cried both times. it was so fun though!!! and I am super proud of myself for giving in to peer pressure so many times.... ? :)

haleyluhooI got to spend a handful of hours with Claire Wineland before we started filming @FiveFeetApartFilm. She was the wisest soul in the youngest, smallest body of anyone I’ve ever met. I’ll always remember her telling me that when you have Cystic Fibrosis there comes a time when you stop living for your treatments and you start doing your treatments so that you can live. We added that as a line in the movie. I think those words are the heart of the story and I’ll hold on to them forever as a reminder that the point of life is for it to be lived.

haleyluhooI think this is the first photo I’ve ever seen of me where I look at myself and see an adult woman person and not a twelve year old person. Which is weird but also kinda cool. Also. I feel like I look kinda sad but I don’t think I was actually sad when this photo was being taken. But fun fact. My eyebrows on this day were orangeish cause I had started rubbing hydrogen peroxide all over my face to kill zit bacteria. Turns out hydrogen peroxide can bleach hair! So. I stopped using hydrogen peroxide and also made this photo black and white so you wouldn’t see my orange eyebrows. Which you now know about regardless since you’ve read this👍

Probably partially because I’m pmsing- but also probably mostly because having this movie be seen and the possibility of it making other humans out there feel. And love.
