isabellefur ‼️PSA‼️ My sister and I made this video when we were little during regular flu season, but we thought it could make everyone smile a little bit in these crazy times. Wash your hands, stay home if you can, eat vegetables to keep your immune system strong, help a neighbor who is more at risk than you are, keep calm and (again) wash your hands. If history has taught us anything, it is that the human spirit and the human race will always endure. WE WILL make it through this. It will change us all for the better, hopefully. Stay positive, wash your hands and take care of your immune system. #staythefuckhome #covid_19 #caronavirus #washyourhands #health

isabellefur I don’t know a single woman who hasn’t had at least ONE moment alone with a man that made them feel uncomfortable at some point in their lives. Every woman has experienced this. A moment with a colleague, a friend of a friend, a stranger- that made them ask themselves “Is this okay?” A moment that then turns into that woman telling themselves “It’s my fault - not theirs- it’s fine... that was uncomfortable but there isn’t really anything wrong.” We repeat this to ourselves. Sometimes we get up and leave - but other times it isn’t until there is 100% something wrong that we trust our gut was right. And at that point- it’s too late a lot of the time.
I made a little movie called TAPE, with a big message - a message that victims of sexual assault, abuse and rape should be heard instead of silenced. It truly was an honor to be able to tell the very TRUE story of TAPE.
TAPE is about a young woman who comes into contact with a producer, who under the pretense of “helping her career” drastically changes her life forever.
Playing this part was the most vulnerable I’ve ever felt. Reliving my own past traumas and shining a light on another woman’s story and turning it into a film that I believe really captures the feeling of what it is to be a woman in a bad situation.
Consent is a grey area. It is never black and white. We must believe victims, we must change how we raise young men to see women, and we MUST tell these stories. The link to the trailer is in my bio. Can’t wait for you to see this film.
