I think we both know that I walked through life with a Brenda-shaped hole in my heart that I didn’t know was there until we met. You literally drove me to and from work every day and our nightly recaps are the stuff of legend. I don’t know what I’d do without you...be dead in a gutter maybe? At the very least, cheese-less. You ran lines with me 1000 times before every scene and was always the first to say, “one more time?” just as I was opening my mouth to say it. You are the new best friend I feel like I’ve had my whole life. The person who shows up with soup and presents when I’m sick. Someone I can have an entire subliminal conversation with in any environment. A scene partner of dreams. A fellow scarf-knitting grandma. I am so grateful that things happened the way they did because it brought you into my life. Good luck escaping me. Just kidding. But good luck escaping me.
