@justin.prentice and I have been clamoring to work together for three years. We finally got to go head to head on season 3 and we took every moment we could to work on the scenes and rehearse. I was filming another scene, and Justin had gotten in to rehearse but we didn’t have the mustang so we pulled up two chairs and did some quality acting. Pretending the car was there. The result is episode ten and I think it worked out alright.

christianleenavarroIt’s easy to feel like you’re just in the background. Often times, in the past 3 years I’ve struggled with that sentiment. But I was deeply grateful to step out of the shadow and shine a light on Tony and his family’s deportation struggle. It’s an important story that needed to be told. For me, it was finally an opportunity to flex my acting muscles and do the work i was trained to do. That I love to do. For Tony it’s a chance to speak his truth, to Clay and the world. What’s the moral of the story? If someone gives you a match, burn the house down. But ya know, figuratively speaking.

When I met Devin he was a fresh faced 18 year old kid. I’ve watched him grow into a caring young man. What hasn’t changed, but has only deepened, is his depth of talent and ability to light up a screen. @devindruid in case i haven’t said it already, your performance was flawless. You broke my heart and put it back together again. I’m proud of you. Season 3 belongs to you my friend. I’m glad I got to witness some of the magic.
