maya_hawkeThis is a good book. A New Book. By a good person. That I love. @ninarenataaron who’s book tour had to be canceled for obvious reasons. This book is mostly about codependency and love and addiction but I have been thinking a lot about people who are quarantined at home in all kinds unhealthy or abusive situations. Without the relief of work or school or going to the movies or whatever it is one does to get some time and space and relief. Maybe this book could be a little relief in this time if you feel like ordering it. A book is like a magic wardrobe I think. Narnia is inside. 😍
maya_hawkeFunny time to be selling stuff but a portion of the proceeds going to @foodbank4nyc also this stuff is so special to me. My closest friends and family were involved in the making of everything @skendalls drew the hands (also made and illustrated the lyric book) @theo123456 took that fantastic photo of me that I painted around to try and make it look like a folk art girl with the pearl earring @stinkletonjefferies painted that very Generous Heart and @bizbev drew that little menace of a baby girl on the baseball cap. I’m totally loosing my marbles this pandemic season but making art and FaceTiming friends is really all that feels good. Use your phones now for what they’re good for so when this is over we can look each other in the eye balls and hold hands and skip down the street in 60’s level presence and revelry.
