margosha777 Yesterday i got to dance on the 5rhythms float through much of NYC. The gift of Bringing joy and dance to the streets, is beyond anything I will ever find in the material world. Gabrielle Roth’s method changed me when i was introduced to it 10 years ago. I was fortunate to be one of her students. She taught me to connect to my body in ways that no other movement form could. Certainly not the ballet world I grew up in. She taught me to dig deep into the depth of my soul and allow for it to come through my movement, no matter how silly or ridiculous. When I dance the rhythms, I am taken to places my mind could have never imagined. She taught me to move through pain, through struggle, through confusion, through all that lives in me. I am forever grateful. So, yesterday was and honor and a privilege. margosha777 Today is my mom’s birthday, and it made me think of this photo i took about a month ago, when her and i stumbled upon this magical moment in Bali. My mother birthed twins, aaaaaand her, my father, my twin brother and i are all born the year of the monkey, and i imagine, there was a moment just like this one, at some point in her past. ( I obviously was too small to remember, and too busy gulping up milk 😳). HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA!!!!! I love you to the moon and back. And back again. Several more times. @irinalevieva🐒❤️🐒
