Embodying @scuderiaferrari and Schumacher’s golden era as reigning champions, the @Ferrari F2002, chassis no. 219, was a pivotal piece of machinery in the 2002 F1 season. In the hands of Schumacher it was victorious in three Grand Prix events in 2002, at Imola, Zeltweg, and Magny Cours, the last of which would secure Schumacher his 5th Drivers’ World Championship title; with six races remaining in the season it remains the shortest time in which a World Drivers’ Title has ever been clinched.

Ferrari also secured the Constructors’ Championship title that year, with the F2002 seeing further podium finishes.

Between 1996 and 2006, the German won five driver titles in a row between 2000 and 2004 and made a significant contribution to the success of the Scuderia, which has produced six manufacturer titles in these years.
The rooms of the museum are decorated with images from the unforgettable years that the seven-time World Champion gave to all Ferraristi and that have created a legend that is greater than ever in the hearts of all fans today.

Starting from P14, Schumacher needed a P8 finish to guarantee a record sixth drivers’ title, with Kimi Raikkonen still in with a chance of overhauling him. Schumacher overcame two collisions to take that P8, rewriting the record books, having gone to the full limits of his powers of determination and concentration. It was Rubens Barrichello who took the race win, killing off Raikkonen’s title hopes and helping to clinch a fifth straight constructors’ title for Ferrari - another F1 record 🏆💪👏
