priyankachopraThe world has come together in this time of adversity like never before. We are getting used to the art of living with social distancing but are connected more than ever with help of technology. But there’s a lot more that can be done and we can all play a small part in this, even from home.
Join me on Sunday, May 3rd at 7:30pm IST, for India’s biggest concert ever, #IFORINDIA. This event is meant to entertain people who are locked-down at home, to pay tribute to those who work on the frontlines while we work from home, and to raise funds for those whose jobs and homes have been affected...
I’m so proud to work with Facebook and my friends and colleagues from India and around the world for this benefit concert.
Lastly, I want to take a second to remember two legends that we tragically lost this week: #IrrfanKhan and #RishiKapoor. Although they are not here with us today, we feel their presence around us and in their honor we will keep moving forward to bring happiness to this world.

priyankachopraThis month, @bonvivspikedseltzer and I have had the great honor of sharing the incredible stories of women who are on the frontlines of #Covid19. Every week, we read so many submissions and I am so inspired by the women who are going above and beyond in their communities to help others. This is the hope we need. A reminder that we are in this together and to lend a helping hand whenever possible. Today, we commemorate our final four women, and thank them for their courage and selfless acts.
Dr. Michele is a pharmacist at a NY presbyterian hospital and works extra hours to train others.
Colleen is a stage 4 cancer patient that has organized “Meals on Masks,” as a way to donate food to other cancer patients and their families.
Brittany is a registered ER nurse working in the COVID unit taking care of those infected.
Anu owns a daycare and decided to leave it open so she could care for children whose parents still have to work during this pandemic.
To the these 4 amazing women and the 12 others we highlighted this month, we thank you and commemorate you. You are helping make the world a safer, healthier place.
priyankachopraAs you may know, @bonvivspikedseltzer and I have an ongoing campaign highlighting women who are on the frontlines fighting #Covid19. We have shared the stories of 8 incredible women so far, and this week we bring you 4 more heroes who are risking their lives to protect ours. Today, we commemorate you. ❤️
April is a registered nurse who not only cares for patients, but has taken it upon herself to support her coworkers.
Rose is a paramedic and a lieutenant who’s worked in EMS for 10 years and takes great care for her patients, while also being a mother to two beautiful kids.
Dr. Richa Pursnani is an OB/GYN resident working 14 hour shifts, taking care of vulnerable women who need access to healthcare.
Pooja has founded the Covid-19 Health Literacy Project which translates information into 37+languages for non-English speakers and immigrants.
Your selfless actions do not go unnoticed. We thank you for the bottom of our hearts.
priyankachopraHealthcare professionals around the world are working everyday to ensure our safety and fighting for us on the frontlines. Their courage, commitment and sacrifices are saving innumerable lives in this global pandemic. 🙏🏽
While we cannot even imagine what’s it like to be in their shoes, over the past several weeks, @crocs has donated thousands of pairs to the heroes in these photos to ensure that they are not only comfortable in them, but safer in them too. Because of this, I’m so proud to partner with them to give 10,000 pairs to healthcare workers at @cedarssinai in Los Angeles and 10,000 more to healthcare professionals in public/government hospitals across India. 💛
priyankachopraA few years ago I shared some DIY beauty hacks with @voguemagazine. Seems like a good time to dust these off to try during quarantine. This is a recipe for a hair treatment that my mom taught me, and her mom taught her. Full Fat Yogurt, 1 tsp honey, 1 egg. Let it sit in your hair for 30 min and rinse with warm water.
Disclaimer: while this works wonders (for me), it doesn’t smell the best. You may need to shampoo twice to remove all the yogurt, and then condition as usual.
priyankachopraSee you soon. ❤️ One World: #TogetherAtHome with @glblctzn will be broadcast on all major networks and digitally tonight around the world. Join us to support @WHO’s Solidarity Response Fund. Who’s watching with me??!
priyankachopraThe stories of these incredible women have truly been so inspiring. Thank you everyone for nominating the women in your life who are working on the front lines or giving back to those in need. @bonvivspikedseltzer and I are humbled to commemorate them today. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Laura works at a homeless outreach and support center that provides bathrooms, showers, and laundry services.
Jessica has been putting together care and safety packages for domestic violence shelters and survivors who have been affected by this crisis.
Tamy is an environmental service worker, cleaning operating rooms and emergency rooms at her local hospital.
Crystal is a physician assistant in the ER and First Lieutenant in the US Army.
Thank you for everything. See you on my IG live at 3pm PST to commemorate these women. ❤️
priyankachopraA short film shot across cities within the nation...featuring my colleagues from the Indian film industry...each one of us putting our individual pieces together from the safety of our respective homes. All this with ONE aim and ONE simple message... #StayHomeStaySafe.
This film which transcends the borders of region and language, was also created to raise funds for our extended family, who are the backbone of the entertainment industry...the technicians and assistants who work on a daily wage. This is for them.
Thank you @amitabhbachchan for bringing us together (virtually and with #SocialDistancing in place) and making this happen. We are one and we shall overcome!

priyankachopraI accept the #SafeHands challenge 🧼@DrTedros. One of the main takeaways from our IG live chat yesterday was the importance of washing your hands properly. It’s a simple action that can help save lives and flatten the curve.
And here's a song to ensure you're doing this for at least 20 seconds.🎵 co-written by @nickjonas.
I nominate @katebosworth, @mindykaling, @nickjonas, @parineetichopra and @amitabhbachchan.
priyankachopraand right now we’re all searching for clarity. My friends at @WHO and @glblctzn graciously brought the doctors working on the front lines here to give us answers straight from the experts. Please take some time to watch my IG Live with Dr. Tedros (General-Director at W.H.O.) and Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove (Technical Lead for Covid-19) from @WHO, who answered some questions that so many of you sent in. Guys, let’s make it our duty to donate to @WHO and stand in solidarity to help flatten the curve (link is up in my bio 👆🏽) and please tag your friends and family below who are looking for answers and action steps 🙏 Thank you so much Dr. Tedros and Dr. Maria for taking the time, and thank you @glblctzn for everything you do. Everyone please be responsible, stay home and stay safe ❤️ #Covid19 #Coronavirus #WorldHealthOrganization
priyankachopra“An equal world is an enabled world.” That is the theme for this year’s #InternationalWomensDay, and I couldn’t agree more. I became aware of gender inequality at a young age and have come across girls and women who fight every day for their own and their community's basic rights and for equality.
Women have the power to change the world and I'm very excited to bring you the stories of such incredible women who support, encourage, elevate and inspire other girls and women to follow their dreams. I call them Women for Women. #W4W
