Our aim with this and the puzzles we created was to give a sense of how it feels to be in the midst of madness.
The puzzles were designed to give a sense of how it feels to be overly-analytical, obsessed and confused. They also show that the way to break this cycle is to reach out to others for help and work together to solve problems. The IGTV performance (shot with a socially-distanced 360 camera) aims to bring the viewer closer to the more extreme sides of madness: disorientation, disassociation and anxiety.
These are real feelings and states of mind that many people struggle with on a daily basis. Hopefully the brief glimpses offered by the visuals can increase empathy and understanding. 🖤

Hello world! It feels good to be back. I’ve missed you. Thanks for all the lovely messages this past week. It’s been great to see you all come together to try and solve the puzzles. A beautiful global community.
VOICES is a song about isolation, desperation and mania. It’s also about fortitude, resilience and the power of the mind. It was written during a personal crisis and is being released into the world during a very public one. Hopefully it can provide some hope and catharsis to anyone who is struggling with their own demons.
